It is a beautiful wild beach located on the peninsula of Vrasidas, between Ammolofoi Beach and Nea Peramos, and about 15 km from Kavala. Take a road toward Nea Peramos, pass the fortress, and follow the signs to Vrasides. One part of the road is not paved (about 3 km), so drive carefully. Parking is available close to the beach.

The sandy beach is in perfect harmony with crystal-clear and shallow water.

If you prefer a more natural setting, Vrasides Beach is the perfect place for you, surrounded by rocks and wild greenery.

There are no organised facilities here, so bring your umbrella, water, and snacks. In fact, there is a small canteen with refreshment drinks and light snacks behind the beach, but it is not always open.
During my research on the internet about this beach, I found information that the beach is calm and not crowded. But, even though we visited it at the end of August, it became very crowded around noon. Also, it was very noisy due to the loud music by some visitors. causing violent reactions from those people who wanted to enjoy the calm and beautiful surroundings… So, you never know 😀
🏖️ Palio Beach
This beach is located in the village of Palio, about 9 km away from Kavala. Also, it can be reached by bus from Nea Peramos, which is 10 km away.
The sandy beach consists of a few lаrge and smаll covеs, with pebbles and rocks in the water in one part of the beach. It stretches along the road, surrounded by small hotels, apartments, private villas, markets, several cafes and taverns.
Some beach bars and hotels offer sunbeds and umbrellas, but there is a lot of free space to bring your own umbrella. Generally, you can order coffee or drinks at the bar and get their sunbeds for free.

Palio Beach
Above the beach, in the quiet environment, there is the Paparouna restaurant (Μεζεδοπωλείο Παπαρούνα). And the view of the sea from a restaurant terrace is absolutely amazing!

Paparouna restaurant
This popular Greek tavern offers traditional dishes for lunch and dinner. The food was very delicious, portions were big, and prices were reasonable. We tried the fried summer vegetable balls, chicken schnitzel with arugula salad, beef steak with country potatoes, and Greek salad, of course 🙂

The beach is a mix of sand and tiny gravel, and the water is crystal clear. However, it soon becomes deep, which is ideal for those who like to swim, but not suitable for small children.

Sarakina Beach
There are two beach bars close to each other, and we were in the Paloma Beach Bar. It was not so crowded as it usually is during July and August, when you sometimes need reservations.

Entrance to Paloma Beach Bar
It looks similar to beach bars in Ammolofi Beach: well organised, sunbeds, umbrellas, a restaurant, and an interesting sitting area. A set of two sunbeds and an umbrella costs 10 EUR. Evening parties with a DJ are also organised on the beach.
